Distribution of shifts

We can obtain fairness in the distribution of shifts, annual leave and public holidays to be worked.

In TempusBasic, we define a shift as one or several periods of time on the same day. In simple terms, a shift is the timetable of a working day. The application distinguishes between three types of shift: working days, public holidays and annual leave. By default, the application incorporates the "Public Holiday" and "Annual Leave" shifts. The TempusBasic user can add new shifts to the application, creating them from the Shifts module. All the shifts that the user creates using the application will be classified as working day shifts. The shifts are then assigned to a member of staff or a group using the Assignment module, or used to create shift cycles with the Cycle module.
